Treads are cut from the same glued panels as our worktops, in dimensions taken from the staircase on site.

AB clear and AB rustic grades, 2–4 cm
Solid oak stair treads in AB clear and AB rustic grades, 2, 2.5 and 4 cm thick, 8 ± 2 % moisture. Made to staircase dimensions.
Sizes and installation
Tread length and width are made to order from your staircase dimensions. Send us the number of treads, the sizes and the type of staircase, and you get a quotation with a delivery date.
As with panels, you choose between AB clear — knot-free with even grain — and AB rustic, which keeps knots and a stronger figure.
Treads are supplied either raw or oiled, depending on whether your fitter does the final finish on site after installation.
What tread thickness is needed?
For a standard staircase with stringers at usual spacing, 4 cm is enough. The thinner 2 and 2.5 cm are used when cladding existing concrete stairs.
Do you make treads to measure?
Yes, treads are only made to staircase dimensions. Send us a sketch or the measurements with the number of steps.
Do you supply treads pre-finished?
We can supply them raw or oiled. If your fitter sands and finishes after installation, ordering them raw is usually more practical.
