Choosing a size
A rule that works in most living rooms: make the club table about two thirds the length of the sofa, and leave 40 to 45 cm between sofa and table — enough to walk past, close enough to reach while seated.
A 48 cm height suits standard sofas with a seat around 45 cm. Lower sofas and armchairs pair better with the 44 cm models, where the tabletop sits just below the seat line.
Every model is available in four shades: natural oak, light brown, brown and dark brown. If the room already has an oak dining table, order the same shade from the same batch so the colours match.
What makes the DP different from the other models?
DP has a 4 cm top built from two 2 cm layers, which gives a more pronounced edge. The other models use a single 2 cm top.
Will hot cups leave marks?
A warm cup set down briefly leaves no mark, but a hot pot or a wet glass left for a while can leave a pale ring, so use a coaster. The advantage of oil is the repair: the mark comes out with a light sanding and re-oiling of that spot, without refinishing the whole top, which lacquer does not allow.
